The Southern Fish

Generalities: it is a southern constellation, containing a star of first magnitude. It transits at midnight in September.
 
Origin e mythology: this constellation was already indroduced by ancient, but it is not associated with any mythological circumstances.

Stars: the Southern Fish contains a bright star, called Formalhaut, of magnitude 1.16, the 17th star in the whole sky. Its color is white and the distance is 23 light-years. Other stars in the Southern Fish are all faint.
