Remark by Simón Benito, J.C. 2006.10.16:in litt.: This species should be revised, it does not belong in Mesaphorura (pseudocelli are not star shaped), but in Chaetophorura or Weinera. |

Remark by Dányi, L. & Traser, G. 2008:28: Jordana et al. (1997) considered this taxon as a subspecies of Mesaphorura isochaeta Arbea & Jordana, 1990, endemic of the Iberian Peninsula. However, this status is questionable in the light of the Hungarian occurences. |
