A Journey by Night.

“Glory to (Allah) Who did take His Servant for a Journey by night from Masjidil Haram to Masjidil Aqsha,

Whose precincts We did Bless, in order that We might show him some of Our Signs; for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things)”.

(Bani Isra-il: 1).

It is the authority of Allah swt. to select among His servants to experience the utmost sublime mystery as Isra’ Mi’raj,

Nabi Muhammad saw. said that He found himself in Hijr and Quraish were asking him about his Night Journey.

He was asked about things pertaining to Bait-ul-Maqdis (Jerusalem) which he could not preserve in his mind.

He was very much vexed, so vexed as he had never been before.

Then Allah raised it (Bait-ul-Maqdis) before his eyes.

He looked towards it, and he gave them the information about whatever they questioned him.

He also saw himself in this Journey among the group of apostles.

When the time of Prayer came he led them.

When he completed the Prayer, someone said:

“O ye Muhammad, here is Malik, the Warder of the Hell; pay him salutations”.

He turned to him, but he preceded Nabi Muhammad saw. in salutation.

“As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them, whether thou warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe”. (Al Baqarah: 6).

“And believe in what I reveal, confirming the revelation which is with you, and be not the first to reject Faith therein, nor sell My Signs for a small price, and fear Me, and Me alone”.  (Al Baqarah: 41).

Tawakkal.

Moslem should be firm and patient, in pain or suffering and adversity,

And through out all periods of panic, such are the people of truth,

the Allah-fearing.

It takes turns the calamity comes and goes by, in dry or wet monsoon,

To be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity(zakat).

It is righteousness to believe in Allah and the Last Day.

“O ye who believe, when you meet a force (of calamity), be firm and call Allah in remembrance much (and often), that ye may prosper”.

(An Anfal: 45).

“Ya Rabbana, pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm,

Help us to overcome all troubles and disaster on our land: the blazing fire, the rise of the angry tides, poverty, greed and lack of knowledge,

Ya Rabbana, establish in strength those who believe, with the Word

that stands firm, in this World and in the Hereafter,

Ya Allah, let us ask Your Forgiveness, let us put our trust in You, for You love those who put their trust only in You. Amien”.

Look at them, they never lost heart if they met with disaster in Allah’s way, nor did they weaken in spirit, nor give in.

And Allah loves those who are firm and steadfast.

Remain firm and act aright even the continues problem comes by turns.

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported: When this verse was revealed: Whoever does evil will be requited for it, and when this was conveyed to the Muslims they were greatly perturbed. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Be moderate and stand firm in trouble that falls to the lot of a Muslim (as that) is an expiation for him; even stumbling on the path or the pricking of a thorn (Bukhari – Muslim).

A Leaf Doth Fall.

Allah swt has made the earth as couch and the heavens as canopy,

And sends down rain from the heavens, and brought forth therewith fruits for the sustenance,

Then do not set up rivals unto Allah when you know the truth.

Then fear Allah, and know that you surely be gathered unto Him,

Anyone backslide after the Clear Signs have come, then know that Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

Those who conceal the Revelation of Allah and purchase for them

a miserable profit, Allah will not address them in the Day of Resurrection.

“With Him are the keys of the Unseen, the treasurers that none

knoweth but He,

He knoweth whatever there is on the earth and in the sea.

Not a leaf doth fall but with His Knowledge,

There is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor

anything fresh or dry (green or withered),

but is (inscribed) in a Record clear (to those who can read)”.

(Al An’am: 59).

Whether we show what is in our mind, or conceal it, Allah will call everybody to account for it,

He will forgive whom He please, and punish whom He please,

For Allah has power over all things, and Allah has full knowledge of anything concealed.

Not a leaf doth fall but with His Knowledge,

There is not a grain in a very black darkness, nor anything fresh or dry green or withered, but it is inscribed in a Clear Record.
