v6469

I picked this up recently from an old trading shop I find my-
self visiting regularly.

I virtually tripped over it for few
months, covered in dust/grime,
unrecognisable at first.

The main body appears to be
silver plated brass, and all the
electrodes silver plated copper.

Being a 'Developmental' unit,
might make it relatively rare,
but also equally hard to find
any information on it !

v6469a

All the electrodes except 1 are
insulated with porcelain.

The largest electrode, (all have
cooling-ports and screwed
connections), is on the bottom,
which I 'assume' is the Anode.

There is what appears to be
extra cooling connection pipes
 & fittings, which are stainless-
steel, connecting the top of the
main body to the bottom, on
both sides.

3 Close-ups of the
ports, stampings
and main label.

I presently have no idea as to its use, or data, and I can't find any e-mail addresses
of any current RCA company who may be able to find out. Your opinions are welcome.
