Taller than the rest of the Air Force units by virtue of its delicate function and prestigious role in the security of the First Family, the 250th Presidential Airlift Wing does just that: secure the President and the First Family by providing them safe and efficient air transport. Visiting Heads of States and other specified state guests are likewise included in the manifest.

For these responsibilities, the Wing utilizes the F-28 and F-27 Fokkers, the S-70 Blackhawk, the S-76 helicopters, the S-330 Puma and Belljet helicopters.
