The 355th Aviation Engineering Wing essentially undertakes PAF-wide engineering construction and rehabilitation, and national socio-economic development projects.

This wing particularly involves itself in on-site inspections and technical surveys, construction and repair of aerodrome facilities and other utilities, maintenance of organic engineering equipment, government assistance in times of disaster and natural calamities, technical and in-service training for its personnel, and infantry combat support missions, when necessary.
