580TH AIRCRAFT CONTROL AND WARNING WING
Recently beefed up by the reactivation of its two radars in Gozar and Paredes Air Stations, the 580th Aircraft Control and Warning Wing has resumed its job behind the radarscopes. As the "eyes and ears" of the Republic, the Wing actively dominates the air space, monitoring all incursions. It provides air surveillance, air warning, aircraft command and control through a reliable communications system in support of the PAF mission.
580th ACWW is presently on the throes of awakening as the PAF seeks a comprehensive reactivation of the ground environment system that would secure the archipelago's territorial air space.
