RECRUITMENT
PRE-TRAINING FOR ENLISTMENT
AUTHORITY: Ltr Dir Nr AGA 2-61-90, GHQ AFP dtd 29 Nov 90
POLICY:
1. Prerequisite for enlistment into the Regular Force, AFP is addition to those prescribed in GHQ Cir Nr 13 dtd 15 Jul 91 is the satisfactory completion of the Pre-entry Training (24 weeks) consisting of the following courses:
a. Soldier Candidate Course at AFPTRACOM for twelve (12) weeks and;
b. Maj Svc Basic Orientation Training at the respective Maj Svc another twelve (12) weeks (PAFMOC).
2. Those undertaking the course shall have the status of candidate Soldier (CS) and shall receive the pay and allowance equivalent to that of the trainee while training.
3. Upon completion of Soldier Candidate Course, AFPTRACOM shall forward to the Maj Svc Comdrs all transcript of training records and other pertinent individual records of said candidate.
4. Candidates who are Ex-Draftee/Trainees shall be exempted from taking Maj Svc orientation course and shall be enlisted after successful completion of the SCC, provided they satisfy all other enlistment requirements.
5. Upon satisfactory completion of the foregoing courses the candidate shall be enlisted into the Regular Force by the Maj Svc Comdrs.
