Comet Hale-Bopp at 5.55 pm (AEST) 1st June 1997. I noted that the gas tail had swirled out to the left above the comet which was a surprise!. Photo taken in my garden at Ashmore on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. Using a 70-210mm lens at 210mm & 20 second exposure on Kodak Gold 400 film.
