Well, I was born in Brescia, a small town in the nearbys of Milan.
I changed home many times, including a five-year live in Mexico, where I spent a good part of my younghood. Then, coming back to Italy, I stayed for three years in Milan before coming back definitaly to Brescia.
Passion for weather begins since my childhood, when I was fascinated by thunderstorms (lightning especially), and any kind of weather phenomena there was in Italy, such as snow, fog, hailstorms and so on. Then, growing up, I found interests in a kind of weather completely new to me, weather I had only seen sometimes in pictures. This kind of weather overcame the usual passions I had till then, and Thunderstorms became my priority interest overall.
Computers came by and helped me (and all of us weather weenies) to get a real close and faster contact to every weather news there was.
Unluckily, I live in a country where there is still no real and important consideration about weather; things are just beginning to move and I think in a little time there will be somebody or something that will consider severe weather in Italy. Though there is still no radar net in the country, I'm sure there will be one someday, and me as a useful helper in this project.
Well, being already 25, I should be working already. But I prefer to keep young and study a bit longer. I'm finishing off University next year (I'm studying languages, ie: English, German and Spanish - which is a COMPLETELY different thing from weather!) and I am actually into civil service. Hope to manage both of them!
Music is my other passion. Should have continued with my Piano, but I had different interests than keep playing classical music. I came through New Age recently (3 years ago), I enjoyed this kind of music, which I consider the closest to my character. Then, having the possibility to
play music, I began more recently to compose music. Though New Age is the style I prefer, I do not deny rhythm'n'blues or any other kind of music, though it cannot be made only through keyboards.
I keep on composing, and as soon as I keep on making new midis I'll add them to my Homepage.
On my other projects there is a real-time weather forecast for Italy, though I haven't got access to a lot of data, but I'll see how ot cope with it. And morelike, a sort of an Italian storm-chasers Homepage, like Gilbert's one. Still I have to meet many of the probable Italian weather weenies that exist throughout Italy!
