Welcome:
Before you begin, please accept my apologies for the pop up windows on some of my pages. Yahoo, in it's quest for profitability, has decided, that rather than fight for an advertising model that is realistic (after all how many TV or radio stations get paid for advertising with the equivalent of click throughs), to piss off the viewer (and the site owner). Yahoo no longer supports banner ads that could be designed into a page. They now put those wonderful ads that may sit in the corner, or then again may just splat all over the page, yeeefreakinhaw.
So stay tuned, I'm looking to move my pages soon. In the meantime, you'll be able to tell the new pages when you see the pop ups, at least until they decide to put them everywhere...which of course they have done.
This site represents many years of railfanning. I've tried to break the site down to general areas of interest. Navigation is simple. I've thumbnailed all the pictures and each page only has around four thumbnails on it for faster loading. Move to the next page using the PRR clear signal, back a page with the caution signal, and back to this page with the stop signal.
When you are done here, check out some of the sites on the web rings below.
Enjoy.
Operational steam. Fan trips and tourist railroads. | These are mostly older shots of PRR and PC diesels. I'll probably have a more modern page soon so check back.
Electric & Traction | Rolling Stock
Electric locomotives and trolleys, interurban cars and other traction motors. | Interesting cars, vintage paint schemes, reference.
Structures | Model railroad
Everything that doesn't move | Anything smaller than 1:1
Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania | Aerials
Pictures from the museum in Strasburg. | Cleveland and Northeast Ohio railroad pictures from the air.
Library | Thomas the Tank Engine
Maps, books, paperwork, oil cans, locks, and all sorts of stuff from my collection. Gotta take a look here, cause you never know what you may find. | A visit by the non-steamer to our area, cause we all have to be kids sometimes.

RAILsearch is the most comprehensive railroad search
engine available. Select a database above from one of the available three: "The
Internet", "TrainWeb", or "Rail Industry" and then enter your
search word(s). The "Internet" database was created by thoroughly indexing
several levels of web pages from over 30,000 railroad related web sites! The
"TrainWeb" database was created by thoroughly indexing every page of every web
site hosted on the TrainWeb server and every page of the web sites of our sponsors. The
"Rail Industry" database was created using very in-depth indexing of the web
sites of railroads and their suppliers.
If you came from a web ring and got lost or want to see other great sites, choose from one of these Railroad web rings.
