N 69 retained in France its s/n 330 as all-weather fighter.
In 1974 this (30-ML) was sent to be preserved at Le Bourget museum.
No. 69 was sent for trials of the Matra 530 AAM, to the French Air Force range in Algerian
Sahara. After a year or so, it returned in January 1964 but shortly after was flown to
France (as an exchange for the N 70). Why this deal had been decided is still a mystery.
