Brazil alone, has over one hundred Domestic Shortwave stations, most of them, commercial, but few people are aware of the International Service of Radiobrás, the radio-communications arm of the Brazilian Government.
From my home in Newark, NJ, I can also listen to
Radio Nacional da Amazônia, from about one hour
before dusk, to well after dawn.
This allows me to keep fairly current with the news
of Brazil, a country of which I was a resident for 20 years.
Some programs I normally listen to, are: "A Voz do
Brasil", "Jornal Nacional", "Esporte Total" and live
soccer games.
Furthermore, here is a brief rundown of a few other stations I have logged:
Radio Nacional do Brasil - English Svce.

15,265 kHz on the 19 mb to EUR.
