BRANTLY B-1

En 1943 N.P. Brantly comenzó el diseño de un helicóptero ligero que se construyo en 1946 bajo la denominación de B-1,con el sistema de dos rotores coaxiales. Abandonando poco después este tipo de configuración y desarrollando el que luego sería el B-2 con el sistema convencional de rotor principal y rotor de cola.

In 1943, N.P. Brantly commenced the design of a small helicopter, which he designated in its initial stage as the B-1. This design employed a coaxial rotor design. He soon abandoned this design in favor of a conventional main and tail rotor system on the B-2B.
