KAMOV KA-25

ASW helicopter with a short, stubby fuselage and contrarotating, coaxial rotors. The contra-rotating rotors eliminated the need for an anti-torque tail rotor, and made a very compact design possible, with obvious benefits for shipboard operations.

Payload : 12 passengers or 2500kg.
