SIKORSKY S-1 FIRST HELICOPTER

Este fue el primer intento de I.I.SIKORSKY por construir un helicóptero. Constaba de dos rotores coaxiales con dos palas cada uno (la superior de 4,6 m de diámetro y la inferior de 5,0 m).Testeado, pero falló en el despegue, cayendo sobre un costado.

The first attempt by I.I.SIKORSKY to build a flying machine. It was a helicopter with two coaxial two-bladed propellers (upper 4.6m diameter, lower - 5.0m). Tested, but failed to take off - falling on one side.
