This was the first
Dx-pedition to this rare spot for many years. It took an enormous amount of
organising and red tape to get through. However the Dx-pedition was very sucessful
indeed and gave many thousands of Amateurs this rare and needed country for the DXCC's.
Fellow DX-peditioners were ZL1AMO (Ron) and ZL0AFZ/9 (Wayne).
