Every time I watch anything that really happened on TV I see somebody who tells me what I was supposed to think about it. Why am I not allowed to come to that conclusion on my own? Either the people in the NEWS media think that we are not capable of thinking on our won or they are trying to control what we think.

After every political speech we see some person telling us what to think about the speech. Typically, this includes how well the Democrats did and how bad the Republicans did. This is obviously an effort to make you think that the liberals are doing a better job than the conservatives. The liberals controlled the Congress for around 50 years and the best that they could do was drive the country into a very large debt. No business would be able to survive with a debt like that, but because this is the federal government Congressmen do not have to worry about the terrible debt.

I apologize for digressing like that. The media have shown their favor of the liberals in nearly everything they have broadcast. In 1992, the Democratic Copnvention was shown until the very end each and every night, but when it came time for the Republican Convention, the convention was turned off at eleven o'clock so that the news would start on time. Then in 1996, the major networks showed the Republican Convention on night in which it was held, but the Democratic Convention was shown on some of the major networks on all of the nights it was held. This sounds like a very big liberal bias to me.

The bottom line is that the media tend to be bias toward liberals and this makes them an ureliable source of what happened because they will tell you what they want you to think happened, and not what really happened.
