I recently had a run in at the BMV. Why all that paper work? I want to know how things are better if we waste massive amounts of paper and time filling out forms in triplicate when only form would answer it all. The government has gotten too big and that is thanks to wonderful liberal democrats who ran the country for 40 years. It is a total waste of money and energy to make people fill out all of those forms and then have people review it.
We need a license to do just about anything today. The government wants to make sure you know what you are doing. It is really easy to fake exams and it is even easier to forget what is on those exams. I imagine that driving conditions would not be that much worse if people did not have to take a bunch of tests. Yes it is the job of the government to protect me from others, but it is not the job of the government to protect me from myself. The government should not be making up my mind for me by deciding what health care I should have or whether or not I should drive with insurance. (Which of course is illegal in the state of Ohio now) The government should also should not decide whether or not I should buckle up or turn my headlights on when it is raining. It should also not be considered child endangerment for a mother to have a child on her lap when she is in a wheelchair.
I am smart enough to figure out what is best for me. I undestand that the reason for our representative form of government is because the general populace is too stupid to run a government. If you want proof of that take a look at what the polls say about Clinton right now. We may not be able to run a government, but we can run a life. We don't need you to do it for us. If you want to help us then butt out, and go back to deciding which intern you want tonight.
