I saw that a "professional" wrestler was going to sue her former employer because they wanted her to engage in a lesbian story line and bare her breasts for the viewers. It is about time that somebody has brought attention to the fact that these wrestling shows have gotten way out of hand. These shows are just plain ridiculously violent and the language they use is appalling. I watched only a portion of one of these shows. When two of there wrestlers allegedly got into an argument, most of the words were bleeped out. Apart from the bad acting and poor recitation of the script, why would you want to watch a show if you can't hear most of the dialog because it has to be sensored out?
Children watch these shows and they it is cool to behave like these people. They think it is cool to use profanities rather than learn how to use the English language properly. These actors wear clothes that are obviously designed to be torn off so that they can get a rating or two. That is disgusting. I don't know about you, but I am not entertain by violent or offensive programing. I turn it off. I suppose that people find this modern "humor" to be funny because they are immature and they get all giddy and embarrassed when somebody mentions sex or says a profanity. If you use that then you are guarranteed to get to get a laugh out of some immature fool in the audience.
If only we more comedians today would try to be funny and not use those keywords that are guaranteed to get a laugh. Well I suppose that comedians will continue to use that method because it is easy and they are allowed to do it. In the past comedians had to be funny because they had to stay away from those taboo words that make people giddy. I guess the only thing we can do is remember the good old times when comedians were funny.
