History: When the Communist Party of Denmark (DKP) integrated itself to Enhedlisten, a group of communist harldiners left it, forming Kommunistisk Forum. This group founded the KPiD. The first congress of KPiD was held in november of 1993.

    KPiD Ungdom (KPiD Youth):

    KPiD Ungdom is the youth of KPiD. It publishes a newsletter called Til Kamp (To Struggle). KPiD Ungdom's activity is based mainly in Copenhagen. It has relations to communist youth organizations in Europe and is since 199? member of the World Federation of Democratic Youth.
