STARSCREAM: I brought you here for a simple reason, to have my revenge! Starscream Insectimize! (He transforms and pulls out a huge laser rifle.) When I landed several months ago I had to decide to be a Maximal or a Predacon, I hate both, but then more and more stasis pods landed on the other side of the planet, I had an army, and we are called, the Insectitrons! Insectitrons! Introduce yourselves! (Out of the next cloak bubble flies a mosquito.)

TRANSQUITOE: Transquitoe! Insectimize! (He transforms and pulls out a mosquito head gun with torpedoes ready to launch. An ant, exactly like Inferno but black, steps out of the next cloak bubble.)

DRONE: Drone! Insectimize! (He transforms into a robot exactly like Inferno, but with black instead of red and gold instead of silver, he pulls out an ant abdomen turbine gun, the turbines spin as it charges up. Out of the next cloak bubble flies a delicate monarch butterfly.)

LADYBOT: Ladybot! Insectimize! (She transforms into a tall, thin, and beautiful robot with blades coming out of her ankles and elbows, she pulls out a butterfly tongue whip and a small blaster. Out of the next cloak bubble crawls a long brown centipede with piercing yellow eyes, the camera zooms in on Airrazor's face and she realizes he is the one from the hole.)

CENTORPEDOE: Centorpedoe! Insectimize! (He transforms into a robot somewhat resembling Tarantulus and pulls out a gun made from the mandibles of the centipede. A flash pierces the sky as a lightning bug hovers out of the next cloak bubble.)

ILLUMENEETO: Illumeneeto! Insectimize! (He transforms into a short and wiry robot and unsheathes two antenna lances. A large and furry leg comes out of the next bubble, followed by the rest of an ugly tiger tarantula.)

CYBERFANG: Cyberfang! Insectimize! (He transforms into a mean looking robot with a spider mandible gun on each wrist, and all eight legs arranged in a peacock fan from his back, each one is a plasma gun. Out of the next cloak bubble flies a black dragonfly.)

SWITCHBLADE: Switchblade! Insectimize! (He transforms into a green and black robot, he pulls out a the dragonfly tail, a blade flips out like a switchblade. A single, tiny, killer bee fly out of the next cloak bubble, followed by more until a cloud of droning bees is formed.)

SWARM: (All the bees speak at once.) Swarm! Insectimize! (The bees melt into a blob that forms a robot, much like Waspinater, he pulls out a small proton gun. A praying mantis swaggers out and stumbles over a rock.)

MANTAZOR: Mantazor! Insectimize! (He transforms into a robot with huge claws and and two shoulder guns. Out of the next cloak bubble creeps a termite.)

TERMITRON: Termitron! Insectimize! (He transforms into a small robot with a big termite mandible gun. An earwig leaps out of the next, his tail-claw up over his head like a scorpion’s tail.)

POWERCLAW: Powerclaw! Insectimize! He transforms into another short robot, he brings up the huge grip claw, between the mandibles is a photon barrel. Then out of the next cloak bubble walks a huge, twenty-foot long stag beetle, the ground shakes as he walks.)

STAGATRON: Stragatron! Insectimize! (He roars, then transforms into a gigantic robot and pulls out a pincer proton gun longer than Rattrap is tall.)

RATTRAP: Oh no!

STARSCREAM: Insectitrons! Attack! (The battle begins, the Insectitrons are firing from their perches, the camera pans in a circle to show all their weapons, it stops on Illumeneeto, he uses his abdomen to fire magnetic distortion blobs that look like moving ripples in water, one passes over Dinobot and Tarantulus and they go into stasis lock. Drone lets loose a thick beam of energy from his turbine gun that takes out Quickstrike, who flies back into Waspinater, the two skip across the ground, a second beam passes over Silverbolt, B'boom and Airrazor. Swarm turns into best mode, Rhinox fires his chain-guns into the swarm but they just pass through, the bees invellope him, changing his color to a yellow tint.)

RHINOX: Ahhh! I-can't-f-fight-it! (His body is jerked to the side and his chainguns fire at Blackaracnia, she is thrown back and hits the ground hard, then Rhinox falls to the ground, the bees separate from him. Airrazor is firing at Mantazor when Ladybot’s whip cracks around her neck.)

LADYBOT: Gotcha! Birdie! (She twists Airrazor in the air and rakes her elbow blade down her back, Ladybot then releases the whip and kicks Airrazor with her ankle-blade, that digs deep into her tail-bone. The kick sends her down to the ground, Mantazor thrusts out his arm-blade, it pierces to the right of her midsection, he flings her to the side, Silverbolt flies down and slams his elbow into Mantazor’s back, he then lands next to the downed Insectitron.)

SILVERBOLT: It is not right to strike a female! (A finger taps his shoulder, he turns around to face Illumeneeto who gives him an upper-cut.)

ILLUMENEETO: We got a hero on our hands here! (Silverbolt dives at him, Illumeneeto grabs his shoulders and rolls backwards, launching Silverbolt into a rock, when Silverbolt runs at him the second time Illumeneeto quickly draws one of his lances and stabs it through his stomach, then elbows Silverbolt in the face, Silverbolt goes down on his knees in pain, holding the blade through his gut.)

SILVERBOLT: Ahooooo- (He begins to howl, his head straight up, when Illumeneeto draws his second lance and in a fraction of a second drives it down Silverbolt’s throat, all the way down to the handle. Elsewhere Optimus is dodging Switchblades blade while Centorpedoe tries to attack him with Dinobot’s sword, he manages to turn Switchblade so Centorpedoe drives the sword into his fellow’s shoulder.)

SWITCHBLADE: Ahhhhhh! (In the split second when Centorpedoe pauses Optimus draws his blaster and shoot him in the face, he sees Stagatron finish stomping Quickstrike into the ground.)

OPTIMUS: Megatron! We must retreat! (Stagatron speaks in a voice that sends shivers down your spine.)

STAGATRON: Oh, you’re not going anywhere. (He lifts up his huge gun and unloads seven rapid shots that send, Rattrap, who has converted into beast mode and is attempting to escape, Optimus, and Megatron flying. Cheetor flies in and Stagatron swats him out of the air like a fly.) Who’s next!?

INFERNO: The royalty will be avenged! Ahhhh-Ah-hahahaha! (He takes to the air and torches Stagatron's head, Transquitoe dives in and he and Inferno collide in the air and spiral away. Whiplash throws his saw/shield, it wedges in Stagatron's shoulder.)

WHIPLASH: Ha! (Stagatron easily pulls it out.)

STAGATRON: You lost something! (He throws it like a Chinese star, it cuts Whiplash in half right down the middle. Cheetor skids to the ground in front of Starscream and Powerclaw, Powerclaw fasten the claw around the transmetal cat’s midsection and with amazing strength for a small robot lifts Cheetor into the air. Starscream cocks his laser rifle.)

STARSCREAM: Pull! (Powerclaw fires his claw, sending Cheetor flying through the air, Starscream quickly takes aim and fires, the hits connects and Cheetor spirals to the ground. Inferno manages to get Switchblade and Termitron pinned behind a rock, when Cyberfang steps up behind him.)

CYBERFANG: How about some red energon webs!? (He spits red webs out of his mouth and they encase Inferno, who is wracked with energy and slowly falls over.) Nighty-night loser. (From Inferno's hazy view you see Stagatron’s foot go down on his head, everything goes black.)

Scene goes to early the next morning, you see a sight of ruin within a whole fifty yard radius, there are scorches and disturbed mounds of dirt everywhere, both the sides of the Beast Wars are scattered around the ground, the Insectitrons are gone. The first one to come to is Optimus, he sits up and shakes his head, then Megatron, who is embedded in a rock face, with Rattrap embedded into his chest, falls out onto the ground.)

OPTIMUS: What-(cough)-was that?

MEGATRON: It appears that Starscream is anything but banished to space. (Optimus seems deep in thought.)

OPTIMUS: He is powerful now. (Megatron sees the deep expression.)

MEGATRON: Yes, it would be hard to fight him alone. He has superior numbers, and is it just me, or did three of them seem, special?

OPTIMUS: The numbers aren’t what I’m worried about what. And yes, the stag beetle, the bees, and the lightning bug? Those were all experimental prototypes that could exist in multiple bodies, increase their size after exiting the stasis pod, and create magnetic bursts that can put someone in stasis lock instantly. (Rattrap weakly frees his head from Megatron’s chest.)

RATTRAP: Wha-what are you doin'!? Those are strictly confidential facts why are you telling Megs over here?

MEGATRON: Oh, come now, you don’t think I would have knowledge of the newest Maximal technology?

OPTIMUS: Besides, the way I figure it is if we want to beat these a, Insectitrons, we'll have to join forces, there is even less of a chance to beat them by ourselves.

MEGATRON: Yes vermin. (He peels Rattrap of his chest and throws him aside.) Optimus, for once, is correct on the matter, we may have to join forces, but let us recuperate before we decide, yes. (He tries to get up but sparks fly from the joints in his legs, he coverts to beast mode and leans painfully against a rock.)

OPTIMUS: Yes, we will meet at the Maximal base, we have extra CR chambers in store since I’ll try to find any other flyers that are functional.

RATTRAP: Hey! hey-hey-hey don't leave me wit him! (He tries to drive away but his wheels fall off and roll away to the sides.) Ohh man! (He looks at Megatron.) Touch me and I'll scratch your eyes out! (Megatron just chuckles to himself. Optimus walks by Inferno, still embedded in a foot-print, he lifts him up and props him up on his feet.)

OPTIMUS: Inferno can you fly? (It takes Inferno a few seconds to regain consciousness, he sees the maximal in front of him and dives on Optimus, starting to strangle him.)

OPTIMUS: Inferno, ahh! Inferno! Wait! We have to get the wounded... back to the Maximal base! (Inferno doesn’t back off.)

INFERNO: Why should I help you Maximal scum!? I will pull your head of and deliver it to the royalty!

OPTIMUS: Because Megatron and I are considering a truce! (He feels his neck start to separate.)

INFERNO: How should I know this isn't a trick? (Optimus points and chokes out the words-)

OPTIMUS: Look, over, there. (Inferno turns and sees Megatron, who nods.)

INFERNO: All right, (He releases Optimus.) I believe you now, and yes I can fly. (Optimus stands up, rubbing his neck.) I will take these two. (He points to Dinobot and Tarantulus, laying sprawled on the ground.)

OPTIMUS: Wait a second, first help me gather as many functional fliers as you can. (Inferno looks at Megatron who he nods again. In the background Inferno walks over to Waspinater and abruptly kicks him in the head, while in the foreground Optimus helps up a dented and burnt Cheetor.)

CHEETOR: I'll be fine Big-bot, I must have been dreaming, I thought you were asking Inferno for help.

OPTIMUS: I was, Megatron and I are considering joining forces. (He points to Inferno, carrying Dinobot and Tarantulus, one over each shoulder, and Waspinater struggling to carry Rhinox.) Get Rattrap so he doesn't do anything stupid to Megatron and follow them and.

CHEETOR: Sure thing Big-bot. (He has some doubt in his voice but flies off and grabs the protesting Rattrap by the tail. Optimus walks over to a dazed and hacked Airrazor.)

OPTIMUS: Airrazor, get Whiplash and take him back to base, follow them. (He points to the departing flyers.) I'll explain later, just don't start anything. (She looks at him funny, then grabs the two Whiplash halves and flies to catch up with the rest. Optimus walks over to Megatron.) Megatron can you fly?

MEGATRON: Yes, I will get Quickstrike and Blackaracnia.

OPTIMUS: Good I'll get Silverbolt and B'boom. (Optimus walks over and picks up his companions then flies off to the Maximal base, Megatron's picks up Quickstrike in one foot and Blackaracnia in another and follows.)

Back in the Maximal base Megatron, Optimus, Dinobot, Rattrap, Inferno and B'boom are sitting around the bridge, there are six extra CR chambers hooked by wires to the walls, all together there are nine CR chambers. One of them begins to spark and collapses, Waspinater screams from inside.)

WASPINATER: Oh! Why Waspinater always get crushed into a cube or cut in half or blown up.... (He goes on in the background.)

OPTIMUS: I thought there was one defective one. (Dinobot is growling and roaring in anger.)

DINOBOT: We would have won if it weren't for the element of surprise, and the experimental prototypes on their side!

OPTIMUS: They would have beaten either of us easily, that’s why we need to join forces.

DINOBOT: Another I don’t understand is why we aren’t all dead, Starscream wanted revenge, he could have easily killed us. (Optimus answers, almost too quickly.)

OPTIMUS: He’s probably toying with us. (While he says this, two CR chambers open, Quickstrike and Rhinox come out.)

QUICKSTRIKE: What in tarnation are we doin' in here!? And what did I just hear about a truce!

MEGATRON: Calm yourself Quickstrike, Optimus, is everybody else ready to come out? (Optimus is already clicking buttons and watching a computer screen.)

OPTIMUS: Yes, all except Whiplash I'll bring his core consciousness up on screen so he can hear what we have to say. (Optimus hits a button and all the CR chambers open except for one, when everybody steps out they look at each other then at their leaders, Optimus is the first to speak.) Well Megatron, we're ready for a truce, are you? (Megatron quickly glances at his Predacons then at Optimus.)

MEGATRON: I, accept. (He shakes Optimus' hand to seal the deal. The hologram of Whiplash’s Rattlesnake head lifts an eyebrow and yawns.)

WHIPLASH: Whiplash thinks this is very heart-warming, but would like to rest. (The hologram goes off.)

OPTIMUS: Well, I guess that's final, now Dinobot you are familiar with the Decepticons, you studied them, what do you think they will do next? (Everyone looks at him and listens tentatively.)

DINOBOT: Well, the first rule of domination is divide and conquer, so we should make it harder to divide, but we can’t stay in one group because it would be too easy to surround and dominate us, so we’ll have to fan out to secure bases with ammunition or protection.

OPTIMUS: So I guess we need to divide into patrol groups, Megatron, Rhinox and I will take the Predacon base since he will most likely attack there first. (He looks at Silverbolt.) Silverbolt you, B’boom, Blackaracnia and Quickstrike will take the Maximal base. We have the two bases secured, do any of you have an idea for another post? (He looks around.)

TARANTULUS: Uh, there is one place, near grid Arachis um, my lair.

MEGATRON: What!? I thought you said that the energon cave was completely destroyed, why you traitorous worm! I will tear you apart! (He starts walking toward Tarantulus but Optimus stops him.)

OPTIMUS: Wait, it may have been an unwise choice but he has provided another base, Tarantulus you go with Waspinater, Airrazor and Cheetor to your lair. Now Dinobot, Rattrap, Inferno and Whiplash there is a heavily forested area Northwest of here a couple dozen miles that should provide a perfect camp, take the supplies needed. Now any objections? (Of course Rattrap speaks up.)

RATTRAP: Yeah, why do I ‘ave to be wit dose three lunatics? (He points to Dinobot, Inferno and the CR chamber containing Whiplash.)

OPTIMUS: Rattrap, for once shut up and do what your told! (He looks around and Whiplash steps out of his CR chamber.) Okay everyone knows where their going so lets move out!

Outside Maximal base, Megatron and Optimus fly off carrying Rhinox in the direction of the Predacon base. Cheetor, Airrazor and Waspinater take off carrying Tarantulus, Waspinater loses his grip and almost drops Tarantulus. Inferno and Whiplash take off carrying Dinobot and Rattrap. (Dinobot watches the departing transformers, enemies, now united as one.)

DINOBOT: So the battle begins.
