I am 19 years old and for the past 5 years I have been very interested in politics. My "career" started before the last elections in Israel in 1992, when I was very active at the left wing party, Meretz.

It has only been a couple of years ago, though, when I have finally decided to center my studies and energy on politics. And so, I have spent a year at Binghamton University, studying mostly Political Science.

In addition I was very active at a number of organizations, especially after the very unfortunate occurance of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin's assassination, by the despised low life killer, yigal amir. Some of my activities at that time included creating a petition condemning the assassination (with the appreciated help of Joe P. Hury, Gregg Gardner, Steve Nadel and James Arthur and the moral support of many more of my friends). Also, I helped brining on a memorial service at the University, attended by about 300 students, and later on, organizing a group which attended the memorial rally at Madison Square Garden (where the speakers included Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres, Leah Rabin, United States Vice President Al Gore and many more dignitaries). Later on, I continued being active unitl returning to Israel this summer. Here I have started some political activities, working for the cause of peace, human rights, etc. until starting the army.
