I am an Indonesian citizen.I felt teribble when reading true stories
given by the victims. Is this what Indonesia used to be?Is this what
Indonesia supposed to be like?Ask yourself. For many years we,Indonesian
Chinese living in Indonesia have been the targets for many protest,be it
concerning goverment,election...etc.Is there justice in Indonesia?I felt
pity for those who died in this tragedy.
What can we do? Indonesian
Chinese is just a minority in so called 'Multi-racial' country.I think
something has to be done in order to prevent future tragedy from
happening again. If the goverment can't protect us,then we shall protect
ourself.I think that we should be like US,where guns are legalised.Every
Indonesian Chinese family should be given one gun at least.New laws must
be set up,such as we are given permission to shoot trespassers.Only the
minorities shall be giventhis privilegge. For the more fortunate ones,we
should just migrate to other country, where we are treated equally.
There is no future in Indonesia if the corrupted officials rules the
country.Everything we built in tens of years are gone in just a few
days. The trust for peace and harmony is gone.Indonesia will never be the
same again.People learn from mistakes and try not to repeat again. But
what has Indonesian goverment done to repay the mistakes they have
done?If they have taken harsh action against those
activist, protestors, looters, killers and rapers,I beleive this tragedy
could have been prevented.
I hope if my opinion is put up,all Indonesian
Chinese who is or have read this should unite from now on.Help all the
needy chinese if you can.A little help from each one makes a great
diffrences. All Chinese in the world should unite and help to overcome
this tragedy, and we should protest to United Nations, demanding our human
rights and equal rights.I hope God will protect us and blessed those who
have passed away in the tragedy.
Thank You,
