Welcome to the official homepage of the Feminist Action League (FAL).
This page was set up to give FAL members and other interested people a chance to
find out about the organization and to read about the issues and events that
concern the FAL and the feminist & women community at Cornell.
Since this is info from 1996-1997, I will keep it for historical purposes. I am not sure if FAL is still together, as the original founders have graduated and so have I. I have a personal homepage you can check out if interested. Thanks for all your links and support! -- 2/7/2001
I took out all email addresses from this page to protect ourselves from spam mail. If you want info about the group for research or whatever, go to my homepage and contact me from there.
To register: Contact Julie Chon (253-6053) or Mikey Choi (253-2837) to join the Squad and for more info (also re: housing).
Or you can register on-line from the Feminst Majority homepage.
To promote equality, respect and understanding between the sexes,

the feminist movement on and beyond the Cornell University campus.
We have a Mailing List for FAL members only: FAL-L@cornell.edu.

Cornell's Sexual Harrassment Policy
The current redrafting/revising of the policy will affect all of
us on campus, and we as students want to let the University know that.
The student voice is often neglected in the administration and student
input on issues such as Sexual Harrassment is crucial.
For background information on what happened to the Sexual Harrassment
Policy (also in regard to the Prof. James Maas case) and what is
happening now, you can go to this site:
Justice On Campus: scroll down past the "75 Reasons" material to get to the part about Cornell's Sexual Harrassment issue.
Affirmative Action
Cornell Feminist Majority's Action Committee on Affirmative Action
works with other student organizations at Cornell to save Affirmative
Action as an issue on campus.
