HEALTH BOSS FIRED
Authority board chairman Dareld Cholak said yesterday the board has decided to "terminate" the employment contract of W.C. "Bill" Bell. "It's a personnel matter, and because of the possibility of litigation we don't want to go into it," said Cholak. "I don't really know why it happened," Bell said, adding he won't discuss it publicly until after he's talked to his lawyer. His contract went to December 1999. The Lakeland region is east of Edmonton to the Saskatchewan border, from Vegreville in the south to Lac La Biche in the north.
