[Elan Ohayon]
On or around October 20, 2000, Elan Ohayon, an anti-poverty/anti-homelessness advocate, doctoral studies student and student governor at the University of Toronto was aggressively arrested and assaulted by the police for sleeping in Allen Gardens.
