E-P-I-D-E-M-I-C !

Well, the shooters have certainly been active all over the country.  It's bad enough when someone goes postal and shoots up his bosses and co-workers because he feels abused on the job.  But when high-school  and even grade-school  kids start blowing away their teachers and classmates, premeditating sniper-traps and making pipe-bombs - well then things have certainly gotten overly Helter-Skelter!

These incidents are bad enough - but what makes them true Greek Tragedies is that not only are there innocent victims involved - but that these shootings need never have happened!

Of course, the Totalitarian Leftists and their Media Lackeys pretend to see only one cause for these tragedies - the availability of guns.  It makes no difference if the kids broke into a house and then into gun-cabinets to steal the guns they used - it is, according to the Anti-Gun-Rights-Ilk, the mere existence of guns that is the problem. If we could only get rid of all guns, they chorus, we would have no more of these problems.

     WRONG!

Those sneaky snivellers who have denigrated being a parent, and have done their best to remove even the study of morality from the schools would never admit that this epidemic of violence is the whirlwind reaped from their conniving stances on such issues. NEVER would they admit that no more than cars, chain-saws, knives, or panty-hose - guns don't kill people - people kill people!

These "do your own thing", "let it all hang out", "I'm depraved cause I'm deprived", "yes, they shot-gunned their parents, but they're sorry" contingent, would N-E-V-E-R admit to the principle of individual responsibility - and would C-E-R-T-A-I-N-L-Y never hold the parents responsible for raising such little monsters.

When I was a kid, America was relatively free.  People grew up with guns.  It was part of the culture.  No one thought anything special about it.  No one locked their doors.  No one was afraid to walk the streets at night.

Of course, in those days in school we most proudly recited the "Pledge of Allegiance", since our government had not been revealed to have done anything to shame us, and "America the Beautiful" always brought a tear to our eyes, not because we realized what we were losing, but because we imagined what we had, and "Man Without A Country" was a real tear-jerker because at the time, we had no inkling that our government should be challenged.

We respected family and the rights of others and exercised power with a grave realization of responsibility.

     But, those were the days...

Now we have the government not only abandoning Civil Defense, lying about all sorts of things, running obscene experiments on its own citizens, refusing to admit the bankruptcy of our social programs, resisting any sort of meaningful reform, failing to protect us from terrorists both external and internal, taxing and legislating the people to death, mounting full-scale military assaults on its citizens and generally running amuck.

So, what are  the solutions to this epidemic of violence?
DARE to allow people their natural Right-to-Bear-Arms.
DARE to teach kids Right from Wrong.
DARE to teach people the responsible use of firearms.
DARE to hold parents responsible for actions of their Minors.
DARE to teach kids the difference between Reality & Fantasy.
DARE to hold Youths responsible for their actions.
DARE to take Power back from the Government.
