In Germany, the Nazis first came for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Catholics,
but I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one left to speak for me.

In America, the Statists first came for the Rich People.
but I didn't protest because I wasn't a Rich Person.
Then they came for the Gun-Rights Advocates,
but I didn't protest because I wasn't a Gun-Rights Advocate.
Then they came for the Drug-Users,
but I didn't protest because I wasn't a Drug-User.
Then they came for the Home-Schoolers,
but I didn't protest because I wasn't a Home-Schooler.
So when they came for me,
there was no one left to protest for me.
