EDITORIAL
United Struggle and Struggle for Unity.

Freedom has been informing time and again in previous issues about the ongoing processes for the revolutionary unity among the different revolutionary organisations of seven sister region.

The formation of 'Co-ordination Committee of NDFB & ULFA' in Asom on 3rd October 1998, the foundation day of NDFB is a mile stone towards the united struggle of the peoples of this area. Successfully ULFA & NDFB are doing their best in all respective level against the enemy since the formation of the aforesaid alliance.

The MPLF is another historical development in the process of unity for the struggle of Manipur. "We are ready to bring the unity among us at any cost or sacrifice"; the august leadership of PREPAK, RPF and UNLF have reflected already their determined remarks through the formation of MPLF.

It is also very hopeful news that the differences between the TPDF and NLFT are also gradually minimizing.

On the other hand, we have noticed regretfully that the Naga unity problem is still lying on the depth of forthcoming days. India is utilizing all the means to keep the Nagas divided. Hence, ULFA believes that the Nagas will explore all the avenues necessary for the unity of the Naga struggle to resist the Indian policy of 'divide and rule'.

In fact, the unity among struggles of the seven sister region will not only stand as a benchmark of the victory against the common enemy but also suffice the need to reflect the distinct interdependent historical and cultural entity of the peoples of the region.

Unity be a source of power for the new millenium to overthrow the occupation from the seven sisters region. Unity be a source of unity to minimize all the decade old differences which are laying among the revolutionary brothers of the region. Unity be a source of resistance against all the conspiracy of occupation forces to divide us and destroy us.
