How to recruit new members and get more media on April 15th

COSTUME IDEAS (beytond the standard minuteman or Revolutionary garb) I was thinking of dressing up as a 'Jack-Booted Govt Looter' complete with paratrooper's boots, black BDU's, helmet, gas mask, web belt, combat harness, fake weapon and a bright red 6" armband with a white solid circle containing the black letters, 'IRS'. Think I could get away with such attire, say, at the Post Office on that infamous day or should I prepare myself for jail? Your comments, please.

We all know that April 19th is the anniversary of the 1775 march on Concord, Massachusetts leading to the first Revolutionary War battles at Lexington and Concord. It is also the anniversary of the Nazi attack on the Warsaw Ghetto. It is also the anniversary of the Branch Davidian Massacre.(April 19,1993)

Members of the Commitee for Waco Justice know of just two April 19, 1997 events: the memorial by Branch Davidians at Mount Carmel, outside of Waco, and our small Committee for Waco Justice rally across from the White House. Let's see if we can do better in 1998!

Next April 19th is a Sunday. So there is no "weekday work" excuse for not organizing a public event to remind all Americans that we will resist tyranny. Afraid to be seen demonstrating in public or to get your picture taken? Then they have already intimidated you and you have already lost your freedom!

Please make sure to advertise your event on the Internet so we can all inform the local press about other events around the country. Let them know there are thousands of us out there.

April 19,1998, for the fifth year in a row, the Committee for Waco Justice will be demonstrating on the Ellipse, south of the White House.
