STOP EXTORTION ACTION
From a Liberty Activist (nom de plume "Remingtonius"
)comes this bonus Action of the Month...
"Keep in mind that although I thought this up some time ago, it was only recently that I hammered it (the attached doc) out - so it may have a few kinks in it. It is designed to chip away at the statist mindset of policemen at the local level. I would imagine it would get a few laughs at the police station, but behind the Laughs - only the very dim witted could ignore the underlying reality that taxation is, in fact, theft. (or more correctly:extortion) Local cops are an important audience in the struggle for freedom. " Remingtonius
It works like this;
1) write out the following letter in pen or pencil, but do not sign
it. It will be sent annonymously.
2) place it in an envelope and address it to the commander of your local
police department's fraud, rackets, organized crime or detective unit.
If unsure about the exact name of who you should send it to, call your
local PD (and/or State Police if you want to do a second letter) and ask
them for the name of the unit which handles extortion/blackmail cases.
3) stamp and mail it. The website at the end of the document goes to an
article by James Bovard about IRS abuses. I suspect it is a temporary page.
Perhaps you know of a better address to send them to. Maybe a 1-800 # ?
Kindest regards, Remingtonius --------------------------
Dear Sir or Madam,
Please help me. I'm am being extorted.
For reasons, which will become obvious as you read this letter; I must remain anonymous at this time. Regardless of my anonymity, you may still be able to help me. I should have come to you sooner, but I was scared.
This has been going on for a long, long time. It has to stop soon, I can't take it much more.
Shortly after I got my first summer job, a large and powerful gang began asking me for money. I wanted to refuse at first, but an older coworker told me not to be foolish. He told me this particular mob was too big to refuse or fight. He said they were too well connected and that they were very heavily armed. People who refused the gang were beaten and taken away, sometimes with the assistance of members of your police agency. I hope you are not part of the mob. (As I said, these people are well connected hence my anonymity.)
I was told that by paying I would be "protected", and that my money helped make sure I would have work to do in the future. As I went from job site to job site, this group still followed me. As I rose in experience and my pay increased so did the amount they demanded. (In view of the violence they threatened me with, I can't possibly imagine what could possibly be worse to be protected from.)
As a police officer, didn't you swear an oath to protect me from such thievery? This gang is known to police, and has a nation wide influence. You should have no trouble finding them. They are so big they even have a web site; http://www.web2010.com/marceric/news/nws43.htm
