Reflections
Don't look too deep I won't be hiding
Pay no attentions to the detours I am taking
They are only diversions I am using
to avoid you-haven't you been noticing
Pebbles across my pond skipping
You'll watch the beauty of ripples spreading
The mirror surface ever distorted
Don't wait for the return of that surface settled
Don't look beneath the disturbances
You'll find no assurances
What makes a diamond such a treasure?
Why the weight of incredible pressure!
For it is the trials which make the beautiful hard
and account for the distant, cold, and scarred
I am the diamond forever bound
Below the surface I will be found
