Note:  Carre called this piece "Menuet"; I added the "2" to distinguish it 
from the first Menuet in the suite.

Fixes, modifications and comments (M=Measure; p=Place in measure; s=String): 
  NOTE: M7 rhythm in this guitar part differs from all the other parts of the 
  ensemble, in particular the treble part which almost always corresponds 
  exactly to the melody line of the guitar 1 part.  There is also a rare 
  discrepancy in the two melody lines in m10.

Comparison of Guitar 1 melody with the Treble part: 
  Pieces in this big suite have four parts: Guitar 1 and Guitar 2; and Treble 
  and Bass parts written in music notation.  The upper line of Guitar 1 
  and the Treble part are so consistently identical, that it seems they are 
  supposed to be identical.  Thus, discrepancies may be of interest.  
    M10: Treble part has 3 descending 4er notes, F E D.  Guitar 1 has 2 notes 
    in 4er half rhythm, F D.

  IF you want the Guitar 1 melody to correspond EXACTLY to the Treble part...
    DO NOT STRUM the 1st string in the following chords.  Write "." in the 
      tablature at: m16p1.
    DO STRUM the 1st string in the following chords.  Write "0" in the 
      tablature at: m8p1.

Tablature elements to be added by hand:
  Slurs. If only a starting point is given, slur includes all the following 
  uninterrupted notes on the same string.
    None.

Strums: Arrowheads ^ and v indicate strums. Open strings in strummed chords 
  were not shown in the tablature; add as many open strings as sound good. 
  Take a moment to re-draw the ^ arrowhead right at the top of the associated 
  stem.

Explanation of symbols: 
  " = trill (starting on upper neighbor). 
  , = mordent (none in this piece).

Octave doublings: If you are playing on a modern, single-string guitar, 
  consider adding or substituting the next octave up almost everywhere 
  you see a 4th- or 5th-string note. 

Performance style: consider playing the 8th notes inegales, that is, as dotted 
  8ths or "swing" 8ths (triplet feel).

Leading measures in Carre's original tablature:
  1 6 11.  Last measure is 16.
