Saying that His Majesty abdicated by the voice of the people is a false statement, since at that moment out of 16-17 millions inhabitants, a mere 10,000 people were members of the communist party (hence republicans and opposing the monarchy), sustained by
the brute force of Soviet armies. Thus, the referendum that followed and lead to the abolition of the 1923 Constitution and the proclamation of the Republic in these conditions is illegal in every court of law under this sun.
As for the context in which his majesty was forced to sign his abdication I suggest you read again H.M. interviews in which he fully describes those moments. As far as I'm concerned, signing a document under the threat of armed forces and getting blackmai
ed with thousands of innocent people being killed, does not constitute a legal document.
Everybody understands the role played by women of all races, religions and social positions in today's society, but as long as the issue of a Constitutional Monarchy in Romania is not resolved in a positive manner, then revoking the Salic law (which prohi
its women from inheriting the throne) is out of discussion. The truth about this imported law is that everybody supporting the Monarchy cause (including His Majesty, King Michael) would like to like to see this law gone.
