WHO SHOULD JOIN?
To achieve its objectives, the UNA-USA Sarasota-Manatee Chapter needs the support of local residents and their participation, if feasible, in diverse activities of the Chapter, especially by those who have one (or more) of the following interests:
- being informed of the UN or international affairs;
- supporting the principles and work of the United Nations and its affiliated agencies;
- believing in international cooperation and a more just, peaceful, and humane world;
- encouraging reforms or changes in the UN system to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its work;
- participating in the activities of the UNA-USA Sarasota-Manatee Chapter to better achieve its objectives and goals.
- listening to our luncheon speakers and participating in related discussions;
- making new friends who share the same ideals and interests on international matters.
