Georgia Democrats passed English Too legislation in 1996. This legislation firmly states that all legal documents shall be in written in English ... as well as other languages.

Prior to this, there was no law governing the language of legal documents. One could, at least, assume that folks would generally believe English would be the accepted language. This change now enables official documents to be produced in other languages as well!

Of course they now appear to support "English First" to the conservative majority of citizens in Georgia while actually providing a legal basis for multi-cultural liberals to utilize other languages in producing official documents.

This is yet another example of the hypocrisy of Georgia Democrats at the Capitol.
