Brian's Whitehouse X-Files

In May 1993, its manager, Billy Dale, and his staff were fired and replaced by FOBs (friends of Bill) from Little Rock. Dale was then indicted on embezzlement charges but was found not-guilty after only minutes of consideration by the jury. One of the staff's replacements was a cousin of Bill Clinton.

There is evidence that the Whitehouse may have used the FBI to justify the dismissal of Dale. Someone in the White House obtained, in what is a flagrant violation of civil rights, Dale's FBI file after he was fired. On June 5, 1996, it is alleged that Whitehouse counsel Bernard Nussbaum typed a background request (but with no signature) for Dale's personal file. Nussbaum denied seeking or reviewing Dale's FBI file. FBI officials stated that they released the records solely in response to receiving the Whitehouse form and "not in response to any personal request from any official of the Whitehouse to any executive in the FBI." As a result, there may have been charges of misuse of the FBI by a Whitehouse official.

Hillary Clinton is rumored to have been behind the firing of Dale and his staff. Staffers had reported that Hillary Clinton was making statements such as " ... these folks have to go ... "
