IGUAÇU

BRAZILIAN FEDERAL TERRITORY OF IGUAÇU
To coordinate the colonization and the defense of the frontier region with Paraguay
the western parts of the States of Paraná and Santa Catarina were detached in 1943
to form the separate federal territory of Iguaçu.
