George W. Bush got annointed president by the U.S. Supreme Court - he did not get elected by the people! He fought tooth and nail to not have every vote counted, because he knew if all the votes were counted, there was no way he would win Florida! Georg
W. Bush does not trust the people, he's a divider not a uniter, and calling himself a "compassionate conversative" is a joke. He's will never come close to being compassionate - just take a look at the Texas record since he became governor. And who was
the first one to run to the Courts - the Federal Court no less? Why George Dubya, that's who. Let's trust the states? That's another lie from his mouth. Why the big push to get this less than intelligent person elected to the highest office in this co
ntry? It's the Supreme Court, stupid! I'm sure Ken Starr will be their first choice for a seat on the court and I'm sure Renquist and O'Connor will now feel confident in retiring. The Republicans have shown themselves to be ruthless, hypocritical and co
rupt, all traits I knew they had. We will not be lulled into a false security of let's all get along and unite behind the King! We have just begun to fight! I know for a fact that we have many Republicans who have switched their party to Democrat after
seeing the obscene way the Bush campaign handled this election. This is the first day on the road to the White House in 2004 for the Democrats. God Bless this country and God Bless Al Gore, a truly compassionate patriot and great American!!!!

Our poor country - led by George Dubya who received the presidency as a great big Christmas present from the U.S. Supreme Court. The people of Florida voted overwhelmingly for Al Gore and he will always be our true President. Now we must face the next f
ur years with a puppet-president, having all his speeches written for him, having his strings pulled by his bigoted henchmen, having our status in the world taken down a peg because they know GWB did not get to the White House because the people wanted hi
. I know I will do everything in my power to help vote out every Republican in every upcoming election - with my main goals being Jeb and George W. God help our country and keep us safe over the next four years.

NISH the corrupt Democrats of Hawaii, because the State of Hawaii is failing to carry out the provisions of the HHCA of 1920, and have come up with a SCAM to create a make believe Indian tribe out of people with one drop of Hawaiian blood, thereby threate
ing the undelivered property rights of the native Hawaiians, heirs of the native tenants, victimized and dispossessed by the corrupt Kingdom of Hawaii's Mahele of 1848.
I am so fucken happy Mr. Bush just got certified winner in Florida today, 11/26/00!!!!!!!

he point of law how can the Supreme court of this country set back and allow something like this happen without stepping in. This is no longer a state issue, the state of Fl. has no right to say that their vote is more important then my vote. Good Luck,

Dear Gov. Bush, I didn't think the corrupt Clinton/Gore team could get any worse, but now they have managed to corrupt our National election for the President. If he and his running mate get in, our Foreign Policy is going down the drain. How can any othe
Country in the world believe a liar and his running mate who professes to practice his Jewish faith when he in fact has aligned himself with a man who is for killing babies before they have had a chance at life. The Jewish faith basis their entiree faith
on the Old Testament. The Ten Commandments are there and one that stands out and one of the first that a child memorizes is "Thou Shall NOt Kill". God did not provide any instances or circumstances where this would be allowed. I have nothing against any r
ce, but I can predict now that if a congenital liar and a man of the Jewish faith who aligns himself with people who believe it is ok to kill unwanted babies and who goes along with what ever this congenital liar says knowing full well that they are lies
ill never bring peace in the MIddle EAst and will probably in fact put our position with all of them in great jeopardy. I want to tell you how much I loved having your dear Mother as our First Lady. I was on a visit to the White House and I got to see he
out in the garden with her dog. What a thrill it was for me. Her love for her family was always evident. When they interviewed your Dad outside the White House at the party for the White House's birthday the other evening, he brought tears to my eyes whe
he proclaimed his love for you and how very proud he was of you and how you have handeled yourself. When I watched your response to Gores phony little speach last evening and his offer to you regarding the outcome of the election, I too was just as proud
of you and your response to him as your dear Dad was the other evening. I keep you and your lovely wife in my prayers. Our Country has come to the cross roads. We have had nothing but pure Evil within the White House for the past 8 years. We are in desper
te need of having Christian people such as yourself leading our Country. We are in need of people with character and morals to lead us. What phony people they are when they walk into the church every Sunday carrying their Bibles on television for all to s
e professing to be Christians. It is no wonder why all these other Countries feel as they do about us when they see the leaders that we have had going about their day leading our Country professing to be Christians while being untruthfull in every instanc
. Why should they believe our leaders when they watch them lie to their own people on a regular basis. I want you to know that you are in my prayers each day about your winning the presidency. We need and want you for our President. God Bless you and your
entire family.

I voted Bush for President! He was in the lead and should be the next President even if it was too close to call! Those extra votes should have made a difference in his winning just as one more point could have broken a tie. I believe the recount shoul
only be used as a tie-breaker, and because there was no tie, there was no need for a recount. Out of fairness and expediency, the results of the voting process should have been accepted just as it was accepted in the last Presidential election. It would
have prevented the wasted time, money, and problems we are experiencing now. I'm sure the concerns we have now existed then as well. It was just that no one bothered to delve into it. Recounting votes only seem to cater to special interest groups, and
ecounting votes manually may have set precedence to going back in time and resorting to handcounting millions and millions of votes in the future, if it is believed to be the most accurate and fair. Hopefully, we know better than that! I believe in God,
morals, honesty,and fairness!

Good job, Michael. However, more emphesis needs now to be placed on the great gains that Mr. Bush made in Texas' Educational system (e.g., increases on academic performance, funding, enrollment of students - University and
Grade School - especially minorities), while American kids fall behind the world in Math and Science. (And people say he is prejudiced?!? Huh!)
Also, the voting public needs to know (and may not) that Mr. Bush helped reduce the pollution levels by a lot. I hope that he understands that his family's oil business is not the best thing for the environment.
Finally, I hope that you and your page help remind the voters (that's YOU bubba boo), that the Economy boom and Crime reduction were NOT due to Mr. Clinton, Mr. Gore, and the Democrats but, instead, due to the Republican-led Congress, the U.S. people, and
of course, last, nut not least, God. *** In the same vein, the Economic problems of the 80's were blamed on Mr. Reagan and Mr. Bush (senior), even though the Democratic-controlled Congress was "tax-and"spend." Even if Mr. Bush made a mistake with his "no
new taxes" pledge, it was not all his fault: he was pressured by the Congress - and he is human, but was a good leader in a time of trouble. Thank you to all those who read - and to you, Michael, for making this page. --Gordon

Gore Free Tennessee, that's whats on my bumper!
I had the honor of seeing Gov. Bush and Mr. Cheney in Tennessee on the day after Gore accepted his nomination. I thought it was pretty cool to be in Gore's home state the very day after Al's big night! They were only expecting a few hundred people at the
ally and over 10,000 showed up. We all stood in the heat waiting to get into the building to see MR.Bush. It was so exciting and what a speech he gave. He seems so real and accessible.
The first President I ever took an interest in was his father, George. I was finally at the age where things mattered. I'll never forget when he turned to Barbara and said, "It's almost over."
I cried when he lost that election and our glorious country has gone down hill ever since. Now,maybe with God's help George W. can get our country back!
I personally only have one vote and it belongs to him,but that is not all I have to give. We dont have to be professional politicians to campaign for what we beleive in. I'll be out there shouting his name to anyone who will listen, driving those that hav
no way to get to the polls, hanging signs, whatever it takes.

Sir,
The next "Commander in Chief", will have the task of leading and restoring what was once a proud force. Cuts in the military have cut moral. Never be fooled, Gen Shelton can not get up in front of congress and say we would get our butt kicked on 2 fronts
t the same time or some country might just try it.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way. Your strong leadership is needed. Lead by example, or surround yourself with those that have been there.
I would like to see you step up to the plate, and get tough. CLINTON/ALGORE have done anything and everything to win. Lies about the record in commercials and interviwes, are so easy to dispell. Everytime Gore get up and lies about your position, or waffl
s on his position, make sure you have video footage to nail him showing on the news that day. The hardest thing in the world for Clinton/Gore and now GORE on his own, is to defend changing postions or just out right lies on your postions. You must be the
an that takes him down, even left wingers will finally see the man twist, misleads or out right lies.
Like a roach in the day light, he will run or stop long enough for you to step on him.
When you appear, make sure you watch out for the Clinton News Network(CNN )to topedo you in a setup. Bring Printed Gore Quotes to you debates. When Gore changes postion, nail him with facts about what he once said. On national TV, you leave with a huge W
N. When he lies, nail him.
Anyone can quote facts in a debate, Clinton/Gore proved that in all there debates. note not everything they quoted was correct.
What you quote be right, or you will be rolled the next day in the press.
Always talk to everyone in the country, slam Gore when he waffles and be Presidential. Lead our great nation, from the days of
Clinton--- "I did not inhale",
"GORE-----"there is no legal contolling legal athority"
Tell the American people, we are a great nation, but we can not lead the world, when the President is himself an imoral man.
In addition, Gore told all Americans at the height of the impeachment hearings-time will prove Clinton is the greatest President in the history of our country."
**** Well that is just another case of lowering the bar, because the standard was to high for Clinton/Gore.
You need to raise the standard and anyone who fails to meet the standard, can not be elected President.
Always, always make sure to use Gore's name with Clinton failures of the last 7.5 years<-- not hard to find examples.
Gore was along for the ride, and now wants to shed himself of Clinton...dont let him.
Best wishes, God Bless you
Larry

I'm impressed with what I heard and saw on the Oprah interview. Gov. Bush, you sounded like a "real" person. I certainly hope you can do what you were saying. Everything you are planning is important, but I feel the senior citizens need major help. I see
y own parents struggling with medications and food. You were right in that Clinton and Gore have been in for 8 years and have done nothing about it. I love the way you were not afraid to speak of your religious feelings. I'm glad you have Mr. Cheney as yo

I have a great idea to solve the debating problem with Al Gore. Why not have PBS host the debates. I thought Jim Leahr from the News Hour did a great job last time. If PBS hosted the debates they could sell the rights to the other stations; CNN, MSNBC...
hat want to carry it too. They could also sell the rights to use portions to CBS, NBC, ABC... This way PBS can make some money and there is PBS everywhere!
Regarding the percription for poor and elderly debate I was thinking that you ought to let people know that the "BIG" drug companies give out free drugs to those who qualify. The way I see it the poor that are having problems making it are being helped. T
erefore the only assistance needed is for the next few steps (economically) of people. I think that the public needs to know that the drug companies are pretty good guys and they don't need to be demonized.
Thanks for your time. I am not going to hope you win. I know you are going to win! Good luck you have my thoughts and prayers, Pam

I am a registered Democrat, but after witnessing and observing the Democratic Party, (Demoncrats), I am changing my Party Affiliation and Registering with the Republican party. My whole Family is voting for Governor George W. Bush for the next President
f the United States of America. I believe in Family values. I do not believe in Abortion and Partial Birth Abortion, these practices should be banned in the United States. There was a woman in Kentucky who just gave birth yesterday, August 23, 2000 to
14 ounce little baby boy, who was 5 1/2 months premature. She was only 3 1/2 months when she had to deliver. This proves without a doubt that abortion murders the Unborn. Governor Bush must be elected in order to Ban this practice.
I also do not believe in the Homosexual Lifestyle. This is another issue that has to be delt with. I believe in God, Family, Country, for without God there is no Family and without God, and Family there is no Courtry, so therefore there has to be God, F
mily, and Country. God Bless Governor George W. Bush and Mr. Dick Cheney, the next President and Vice President of the United States of America and God Bless their Families. Good Luck.

have Medi-care pay for the senior citizens medicine. These are the most important benefits our registered voters are looking for from their candidate. The elderly Ammericans living on a small retirement check and a little social security benefits is in t

The best thing Bush can do for this country is go
back to Texas. At least that way, he's just
ruining one state instead of the whole country.
How honest a man is he, when he conveniently
leaves out some of the most important issues of
our time and his backwards beliefs regarding
them.A Bush presidency would just take the country
reeling backwards in a bad way. He's not for the
people, he's for the rich people. He and Cheney
are bigoted oil men who believe that lining the
wealthy's pockets is more important than taking
care of ALL the people, the environment, etc. And
to think that, if president, he would choose the
next justices to sit on the Supreme Court is
downright scarey. I will do everything in my
power to see that he is defeated. He is a
dangerous man who proclaims to have God in his
heart but God knows nothing of prejudice and
favoritism, violence and hatred, dishonesty and
sneakiness. He's as far from God as Hitler was.
The best thing he could do for this country is
back down and back off. I won't even get started
on Cheney, he's even worse and that's pretty bad.

Gov. Bush, sir, your platform at the GOP convention tonight was right on the mark. Your devotion to the men and women in uniform is a God send. Now when service members retire, they can have a Presdient whom they admire and respect to sign their retirem
nt orders. Military members are a unique breed being that, like government leaders, they take an oath of faithful service as they enter. They swear to defend the U.S. Constitution from all enemies foriegn and domestic, obey the orders of those appointed
above them (even unpopular ones), and if necessary to give their lives in the defense of our nation. All of this means that they promise to live their lives to higher standards than the society they're sworn to protect. They do this out of love, devotio
, and pride of our country and nothing more. All any of them ever expect from their leaders are their marching orders and then the support that they cannot obtain on their own. As military members, they don't have an option to form or join a union to lo
k after their interests. If their "management" shafts them, they can only "take it on the chin". They're simply at the will of the greatest government body in the entire world. As Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, you'll be one of them. I can te
l you they're tired of being treated as fourth classed citizens and fossiles of an era gone by. They are not military machines, they are people with ideas, feelings, pride, and consciences. When they entered service they were made promises by their nati
n that if they serve faithfully and honorably for twenty years they can recieve pay an benefits for the rest of their lives. Sir, do not let our nation/government go back on it's promise...it would be morally wrong! Finally, when diplomacy fails and you
must oder them into harms way, just ensure they have all the best tools of their trade available to them so they can win quickly and come home alive. These are dedicated and morally straight citizens of this country that volunteered to serve... not a die
ng breed that needs punishment. They're uniformed citizens, in the prime of life, committed to integrity and service before self. And they're anxiously awaiting November 2000, and anxiously awaiting a respectful leader, mentor, and Chief. God bless and
God's speed.

acing our nation. A vote for George W. Bush is with out question a vote for NATIONAL MISSILE DEFENSE!!!!

If I may advise the next president on his VP selection. Please choose wisely. The national press
and Clinton/Gore will condemn anyone you pick as
a right wing extremist. So the running mate must
be someone of great stature. My personal favorite
is Dick Cheney. He is solid and presidential and
not seen as a conservative zealot. The second
choice is Governor Bob Taft of Ohio. Why not a
ticket of presidential off spring.

Governor Sir, here is some powerful imformation. From 1990 through 1994 I lived in Nashville TN. I moved back to TX in mid 1994 and with me I brought a newspaper clipping that I cut out of the Tennesseean. It reads.( IRAN GOT 2 SOVEIT WARHEADS-paper LONDO
-Iran has obtained at least two nuclear warheads that had been reported missing from Kazakhstan, The European newspaper said yesterday. The article, based on a secret report from the Russian Foreign Intelligence Agency, again raises questions about wether
the successors to the Soveit Union will be able to control their most dangerous weapons. It quoted the report as saying that several nuclear warheads vanished from the Semepalansk nuclear test sight in Kazakhstan, which the republics president, Nursultan
azarbayev, closed in early 1992. The European said some intelligence sources believe Nazarbayev was behind the secret nuclear weapons transfer to Iran, trading warheads for oil or cash.) Well Governor, in the general election that tells us to hit Gore at
is weakest. Missile Defense, Missile Defense, Missile Defense. Al Gore is gonna get beat because he is against National Missile Defense. In this world thats a bad position to take....

As a parent with two of my kids graduating from college already, and with five still in college, I am impressed with the Govenors work in education. I cannot stress enough how important education is to our children all across the United States. I have li

him as to how many men and women who are in our prisons cannot read to a thrid grade level. Keep running and working hard. I will do everything I can to help.
I own a direct mail company, and if the govenor will pay for the postage and the printing, I will furnish the labor, and the equipment to do any direct mail he needs.

I totally agree with you on the issues that are important to America! Having worked with public schools in many different ways I found them to be completely insufficent in the way they teach! My son attended public school his kindergarten year only to hav
to repeat it when we enrolled him in private school this year. When they tested him not only could he not read any of the 1st grade level he could very little of the k5 level at the private school! They taught site reading (pictures). So he didn,t learn l
tter sounds and phonics at all. So basicly he lost a year of his life. The NEA should be abolished immediately for the majority of the money goes into the pockets of administrators and asst. administrators and the asst. to the asst. adminstrators and on a
d on and on!!!! I,ve been in schools when they didn't have money for copying paper for the children but the SUPERINTENDANT was still making 110k a yr. and doing nothing. Now it would be nice to have a "real" tax cut to help pay for private school, health
nsurance premiums or a deduction on taxes to help pay.You can make a 75k a yr. but if the govt.ends up with close to 40% then there is no real buying power! Now I hope that you start having town hall meetings very frequent and get excited about telling fo
ks about your programs and details of the way each and everyone of them will benefit in their everyday life!!! You have got to beat that "democratMcCain" for the nomination!!!!I'm very serious, I think he should go ahead and change parties. His programs a
d views are the same as that liar that's in office today.Paint him the wolve in sheep's clothing that he is!! You have my vote! Keep your faith and stop believing in the power of our lord and saviour!!

On Fox News Sunday, January 30, 2000, Govenor Bush stood up to the liberal media bias against campaign finance reform.
The "reform" we need is not just in political camapigns. It's in the media. Legislation is needed. The journalism schools, media editorial boards and government regulators of broadcast media are uniformly liberal.
A passive policy toward the media will undermine the Constitution, the Courts, and future of the Country.
There's no more important issue.

By th way, a way to increase the military pay without having to raise the pentagon budget? Do away with the income tax on military pay, without of course, removing the taxes we pay for Social Security or Medicare.
If you want to see how bad a federal health insurance program would be for the masses, look at TRICARE.

Governor Bush!!! Let me get right to the point. This nation needs a missle defense system. We need you to get us there. To my worry most Americans do not pay attention to missle proliferation in the world. It is up to you to inform the voters of the real
hreats facing our country. This is a presidential general election winning issue. The military recently conducted a missile defense test. The "kill vehicle" failed the test. To me Governor, this is the result of a lack of attention, a lack of funding, and
a over all reluctance to embrace the concept of missle defense portrayed and presented to us by the Clinton Administration. Vice President Gore is a part of this Administration. Therefore he must defend the Administrations' posistion on the issue. Quite f
ankly, its indefensable. The changes in the world call for missle defense for the USA. Make the case to the American people not just for NMD, but why it is important to us. Governor, I wish you the best of luck in your drive for the white house. You defin
tely have a lock on my vote. Both in the March 14 Texas primary, and again in the genaral election. Later man!!!!!!

Also, how can a working, Bush-support of meager means be helpful in George W.'s campaign?

I read an article from:Source: Christian Broadcasting Network
http://www.cbn.org/
By Wendy Griffith
November 29, 1999
Quote:
The controversial fetal tissue research industry is under fire for what many call the "booming trade in human baby parts." Although selling baby parts is illegal, new evidence has emerged showing "price lists" for parts and even reports that babies are be
ng born alive and then cut up for their tissue and organs.
Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics, a pro-life group in Denton, Texas, says the abortion industry has found a legal loophole that lets them get away with selling the bodies of aborted babies.
"They're being sold like used cars," Crutcher says. Crutcher mass-mailed a videotape to reporters, along with scores of research orders from scientists -- orders requesting everything from eyes to livers to whole babies -- most requesting healthy specimen
with no abnormalities, and some calling for tissue retrieval within ten minutes of the abortion.
End Quote.
PLEASE, PLEASE stop this terrible procedure.
Surely you, the GOP front runner, should take this issue on and gain even stronger support. Ending Partial birth abortion, once the facts are known, should be an easy sell and in fact it should be a vote getter!

Our country needs a good change and a President who is unafraid of saying what he thinks for the betterment of our country (not for the polls).
The democrats talk about not wanting to give money back to the taxpayers - as they want to invest in our future - which ultimately means that they want to spend it all on programs. The only unfortunate thing is that they seem to have their spinning machin
organized well.
There still is a deficit. Taxes are incredibly high - does that not impact on quality of life ? It's extremely difficult to make a decent salary - pay those taxes and still have enough left for the needs of the family.
All the individuals out there who are out to sling mud at candidates or cut the other guy down need to take a strong look at what are the issues that are most important to our nation now and in the future ??? What plans do the various candidates have to
deal with those issues????
Who will get in there with the right team to get the job done.
George W. Bush has not gotten this far without demonstrating exceptional leadership and without having a magnificent team of advisors.
That's the team that I want to be on!!!!

I can only hope that Mr. Bush does something to drastically raise the pay of US service members. We are wasting alot of money tring to recruit young men and women to fill the deficit. A large number of these people will not complete their first term of e
listment. Yet we toy with taking care of those who faithfully serve in a growing world crisis. Without a large pay raise, more men and women will exit the military. If a product takes care of it's people then the people will advertise it's product, pro
lem solved. We are wasting millions of dollars on bonuses to entice people to join, yet we argue over a 10% pay raise. One $6,000 enlistment bonus would pay for three current military personnel with a 10% pay raise. Curently the Navy is wasting million
on housing new recruits in hotels when they arrive, because they lack room on the RTC. Is the end product justifiing a means or are we appling a bandaid to the problem?

If al gore is elected to the presidency, we are truly doomed. I don't care who is in office as long as they are Republican. We need to go local, and preserve the constitution. We need power to the people by smaller government. If America does not wake up,

Hello (Greetings from Switzerland),
As I am not an U.S. citizen, I can not really have an opinion on U.S. politics but, as I got family in NY and as I have been there several times, I know a little bit what's going on in america.
With Bill Clownton at the White house, what's going on isn't very magnificient. I don't know about Al Gore who seems to have more interesting personality than Clinton.
If US people had elected Mr. Dole in 1996, we would never have heard of Mrs. Lewinski.
I think George W. Bush is a great candidate to restore an U.S. prestige that as been so damaged during the last sex years (six years) of Clinton's "presidency".
Look also for Dan Quayle or General Powell (ret.).
Bye !

I am proud to see that someone is starting a good campain for the great governor. I really want to see him get the office of presidency ( if it hasn't been descrased by now ). I believe he would be a greatly respected president. Look at him now. In the '
8 Texas election, all the politics running for different offices were afraid not to endorse him, they would put their name with his wheather they were Democrats or Republicans. Even one of the runners endorsed Bush that Gary Mauro was his son's Godfather.
That's Funny. This only shows what respect people have for him and I believe he would have that in Austin or Washington.

It's simple. We need a man like Gov. Bush in the White House. INTEGRITY AND CHARACTER do matter as we have all come to realize. Gov. Bush stands on "the Rock." We have come to see what happens when you "build your house on shifting sand." Unfortunate
y for America...OUR White House is on the sand. I truly believe that Gov. Bush will rebuild it on "the Rock." America has been deceived even though alot of us weren't. Continue to stand on the Word Gov. Bush!!
