Lisbon, Sept 4 (Lusa) - Guinea-Bissauan parliamentary opposition forces in Lisbon on Thursday warned a possible flare-up of the country's military conflict.

Representatives of the various opposition parties in the parliament of Guinea-Bissau claimed that troops sent by Senegal and Guinea (Conakry) to Guinea-Bissau were preparing a ''recommencement of the war.'' Irancuba N'djai, vice-president of ''Union para a Mudança (UM - Union of Change), said at a press conference in the Portuguese capital that the foreign troops in Guinea-Bissau were setting-up barricades and digging shelters to prepare for a possible restart of the military conflict.

The troops Senegal and Guinea (Conakry) have backed the government of President 'Nino' Vieira against a self-proclaimed «military council». The two warring sides signed a cease-fire in Cape Verde last month. The peace accord war brokered by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP).

Fighting in Guinea-Bissau erupted on 7 June when a breakway military faction led by former armed forces chief Brig. Ansumané Mane seized a military base and the country's international airport.

We have had a great response from many of you to the T-shirt fundraising plan, and would like to say "muito obrigada" for buying so many T-shirts. We are raising lots of money to help our friends and family in Guinea-Bissau. We are also pleased that so many of you have written to say how much you like the T-shirts.

Don't despair- we still have T-shirts left, and Shareen doesn't want to have to load them into her U-HAUL for the move to Oregon. So what can you do? Send in your order today! A picture of the shirt is on the web-page. Send in your order for T-shirts in denominations of 10 shirts (10, 20, 30 shirts... you get the picture). You only have to pay $6 per shirt now, then when you sell them, you will send us the extra $9 per shirt.
