Editor's Note
By Vic Moya
Being unemployed was the best thing that ever happened to me. The day I got laid off from my shitwork job, I ended up having no responsibilities, nothing, I was in total heaven.
The day after, I go busy again.
I put together a band. I bought a 4-track. I locked the band in a basement and recorded for a week.
Leon's, Sick Of The Pleasantries, was put out the next week. Leon played on in-store appearance, sold all of their cassettes, then disappeared right after. Remind me to put the band back together sometime.
But that's another story...
At the end of the 'zine their catalog description was "caffeine - induced punk for lonely, heartbroken geek's, spazzy, Monkees wannabes."
