Who am I?
I'm a fan--most definitely not Cassie, nor do I know her. To be more precise, I'm Faith, a Filipina living in NJ and still a kid/teen at heart, so I like watching some kids, teen, and family shows. They're more entertaining than most other shows. I also love Disney, *NSYNC, and Cary Grant. Feel free to send me your comments, questions, and contributions. :o)
Why did I make this site?
As previously mentioned, a fan just recently learning some html. Also, Cassie is a young talent who deserves recognition. I just started, and then the whole thing just snowballed. This site has also provided much practice in HTML coding and web designing.
Technically this site is the first one fully dedicated to her, unless you count Abadeo.
What's my Degrassi story?
I only first heard about Degrassi online. If I knew about it a few years earlier, I would have definitely watched it. For a week in the summer of 2000, my family and I vacationed in Montréal and Québec. I was excited to see the cities and to watch some Canadian television, such as Road to Avonlea, one of my absolute favorite shows which I haven't watched in years. (Sometimes I think I would move back to Canada just to watch television.) Although I didn't get to see Avonlea, I did get to see two episodes of Degrassi Junior High. One was about Lucy and a teacher behaving inappropriately toward her. The other was about Caitlin and her epilepsy. (Gotta love the 80's style!) When D:TNG started I knew Lauren Collins from In a Heartbeat was going to be in it, so I watched, and the rest is fan history!
How are my HTML and web design experience and skills?
I started in summer 2003, just playing around with HTML and web design. Then in spring 2004 I took a class about it. I recommend the text from the class, HTML by Eric Kramer, which contains instructions and many helpful hints about web design.
