| July 27, 2001 Not a whole lot going on today -- Shay's counts are better but I'm not going to tell you what they are -- you'll have to go look on the Blood Work page <G>. They have cut back on her morphine, so she's staying awake more and more, her blood sugar was down to 246 this morning -- and she's been sitting up in the recliner for most of the day. These are all good signs. Today is my 6th anniversary of starting work with the company I'm employed at (and that sounded really strange). I miss work -- I was there yesterday and wanted to pick up my soldering iron and go to work. Other than that, I am feeling like the mean, grouchy mom... I snapped at Shay this morning and I know it's just because I'm feeling '4 wall syndrome' -- I may go wander around the hospital later. Cassie goes to Ohio today and will be back on the 6th.
