Back from our latest clinic visit and Shay is doing fairly well. She is off the birth contril pills (so now she's going to have a period - hehehe) but on two new ones - an antibiotic and an antibiotic-type cream. She has cold sores popping on her lips, so they want to nip that in the bud, before it becomes systemic.
We went to the library and that is about the high point of the day. She is not drinking the way she should -- the doctor wants her to drink 50 to 60 ounces of water a day, and she is doing good to get down 25 oz. So, of course, she grumbles when I mention that she needs to drink more. But, if she doesn't, then she won't get off the IV hydration (which they upped to 1500 ml over 10 hours today). AARGH!
