Well, another clinic visit is over and done and this was probably the strangest one we've ever had!  Our regular doctor was off today, so we knew we would be seeing someone new.  Kitsy (the transplant coordinator) came in to take a look at all of Shay's meds (we have to take all the pills with us every time so they can make sure we've got the right stuff.  Plus they change the amounts on them almost all the time), did a quick little look-over and then left.  The nurse came in to draw her blood and the doctor popped in.  And the popped back out.  He never stepped away from the door!  Shay and I were laughing because we got charged for a physical exam - well, he checked to see if she was *physically* there!

She is feeling a bit better - eating well, and starting to drink some.  If she can/will drink at least 50 oz of liquids a day for the next week, the child life specialist at the clinic is going to give her a BlockBuster movie rental card.  Hey, if it helps, it helps.

Hopefully, the girls will start school over at the hospital tomorrow.  Cross fingers - I need a break! <G>  I don't think Shay will be able to go all day, every day, but she might go for an hour or so.

I guess that is about it from the Ronald McDonald house for now.  Take care and y'all have fun...
