Another clinic visit behind us and it was a good one. Shay is now off the IV hydration - we'll see how she does just drinking fluids on her own. Cross fingers for us, will you? Other than that, the doctor says she looks good, seems healthy and all is on track. She and Cassie were such a *perfect* match, it has made it so much easier on Shay... <G> However, we will be here at least 3 more weeks, and maybe even more. The hydration thing has held us up some... :~(
The girls started school here at the hospital yesterday. They go for 3 hours a day, and most of it is work at your own pace type stuff, but they seem to be glad to be back in school of any sort once more. Cassie especially is enjoying being in school, and here at the RHM, as she is getting to interact with a lot of kids. She is *so* social. Shay is more reserved -- with all she's been through, I can understand.
Cassies' birthday is in less than two weeks, so I'm going to be enlisting people to send e-cards for her. I'll let you know when as soon as I get her an address set up.
