Grand Opening of Princess Dance Studio!!

We are happy to announce the grand opening of our dance studio. We will be offering classes for all kitties, beginners thru advanced, in ballet, tap, modern/jazz, ballroom and Latin dances. We offer our studios for rental to members, fur der own practice or purrformances. We are also planning regular dance nights open to all members and their partners, so that members can show off der skills. You can view our schedule of classes and dance nights here. Membership is easy, to apply send us an email here. Members don't haf to take dance classes to use the studio (or attend dance nights) unless they want to.



This monff, we spotlight our ballet classes. These classes will start right away wif the first members who come fur dem, and will be held efury Monday. We will haf beginners and advanced in ballet. Beginners class is open to all girls, but mew need to know the forms of Pointe, Pirouette and Arabesque to begin in advanced class. Dey will be fun to learn and we haf efurything here that mew will need, including toe shoes and practice outfits in our shoppe. Ballet classes are girls only.

We welcome boys as well in all other classes, and we will cover those in more detail in future newsletters. Howefur, we haf great floors an bouncy mewsic fur Tap Dance classes, and our Modern Dance classes will start wif Jazz, and be furry innovative, a great kind of dancing to show off original talents. The ballroom dancing and Latin dancing classes need couples, and a couple will be the instructors, our expert dancers and wedwinks Mewsette an E.T. Later, we are thinking of inviting guest instructors, too.

Dirty Dancing

We watched this movie up at the lodge, and we boff luffed it! The "dirty" part doesn't mean it's naughty or that dey was messy and needed a bath, it was just furry new and exciting moves at that time. And dey still are.

In the movie, the girl of the star dance team at a resort can't dance fur a while, so the boy needs a new partner to purrform wif and he picks Baby. I liked her right away, cuz I been called Baby all my life too, groan. Baby wasn't a natural dancer at first, but wif a teacher like him, she got furry good! We luffed all the teaching and practice scenes, the great mewsic, and we learned a bunch, too. In fact, we was practicing all night on the.... nefur mind. We efen learned to do the mambo. Wowies, is that a good dance! Mew fans of Latin dances will luff it!

There's lotsa dramatics here and a good story. Baby and the boy fall in luff of course. But as dance students, keep your eyes on the great moves and fancy dance steps of the stars, Patrick Swayze and boff his partners, Baby and the blonde girl, who is a stupendous dancer! The end of the movie is a triumph; if mew luff good dancing that's lotsa fun, mew will get shivers! This was the funnest way to learn new dances and cool moves that I efur saw.

The girls' group, Bitsy's Belles, has announced their New Year's Eve Ball. Deadline for arriving is November 30, and you must be a member (or guest) to attend, but you can apply for membership at this page. We're looking forward to a wonderful night of dancing!

Lucky fur us kitties, we can be in two places at once and da 20th Century Guild has also announced a New Year's Eve Ball. It's by membership only, too, but you can easily apply here. The deadline is November 30, so you better hurry. We just luff da holidays!
