The Spirit of the Season

The Christmas season is here once more,
A time to reflect on the passing year.
Our memories linger on pleasant times,
Spent with those we hold most dear.
Missing our friends from near and far,
Seeing loved ones from time to time.
The feelings we have for all of you,
Are more intense at Christmas time.
Changes in your lives and ours,
Changes happy, sad, big and small.
Why is it that we wait until now,
To sit and ponder them all?
Still, as new memories are made
We send our best to you, our friends.
You are in our thoughts always,
Now and in the year that soon begins.
We hope your days will be merry,
And your Christmas bright.
Let the spirit of the season
Live in us all both day and night.
