Augst in Edinburgh Festival, you can attend hundreds of international performances like operas, dances, musicals, films, dramas, etc, and most of all, you can watch the worldwide famous Edinburgh Tattoo!
It was showed in the whole August, everynight except sunday, 9:00 to 10:45 pm, almost full in everynight. You have to order tickets one month ago!
Some said it's just for tourists, but I found it's quite fascinating!
You can see the Scotish infantry battalions marching to pipe bands, the scene is magnificent.
They also invite other troops coming from Russia, Norway, Hawaii, and Denmark to join them. There will be a little different every year. I was quite touched by the atmosphere during the tattoo. So, I will recommend it as one of the must-see programmes in Edinburgh Festival.
Be careful, it's always raining in Edinburgh's summer time. Don't forget your raincoat if you intend to watch this show.
